Overseer Audrey Ransey
Our Mission Statement
The mission of Friendship Baptist church Hope In Transition Ministry is to provide comfort and compassionate care for those who are in need of God's healing power because of illness, loss of life, or any issue that result in grief.
Our Vision Statement
And the things which thou hast heard from me among many witnesses, the same commit thou to faithful men, who shall be able to teach others also. 2 Timothy 2:2. The maturing of these principles is the foundation from which "perpetual ministry" will grow.
This can be a very overwhelming and emotional time. It is a good idea to read this checklist before a death occurs, in order to plan and understand the practical steps of this difficult process. It is also helpful to keep all your important information in one location. When death occurs at home and the deceased WAS NOT under the care of a physician or hospice, your local police department should be notified (call 911).
